Should the U.S. have a 'divorce'?

IMHO, the problem is that there has been an insidious, conniving, controlling, purposeful effort on the part of very nefarious organizations and people like George Soros who are hell bent on destroying America from within. They have bought off the politicians like Eric Swalwell, James Comey, AG Bill Barr, and many republican rhinos who have the backbone of a jellyfish.
Our republic is under attack from within - and the media has been the main culprit in the propaganda in order to make right look wrong and wrong look right. They have done everything they can to get Americans to hate America, to the point where our brainwashed young people don't even identify as Americans anymore.
It's a very deep, systemic problem, and asking a question like this does sort of gloss over the truth about what's really happening. We first need to get rid of ALL or most of the deep state players and the fake news media and stop our educational system from trying to get our young people to believe that communism and socialism are good, and capitalism is bad. Once everyone understands what is really going on, we won't need a divorce because we will all realize that this has been a concerted effort to turn the minds and hearts of half of Americans against America...
It's a huge problem and not one that will be easily changed.

I also think that were we to split without woking to eliminate the corruption from within, our country's problems might continue to fester in both halves of the country.

We don’t have two sets of values. We all have a wide spectrum of values. Political partisanship and partisan media is to blame for this misconception.

Look at the political party split. Republicans are the ones who want out. Democrats and independents don’t want them to leave.

There is a sentiment of people who echo the original founders and another set who adhere to values not similar. It’s a conundrum for sure. The later don’t seem to have a respect but rather an abhorrence for the founding fathers and all they sacrificed for our eventual freedoms.
