I think the Republican party has a psychological advantage. Republicans are generally less likley to levy taxes, and we all like our money to stay in our possession. Not saying it's right or a good reason to vote for, but I think that is the reality. It is refreshing to see someone able to ask and take feedback or opinions from others. Right now there isn't much of that. Thank you!

When the flat tax went into effect, and everybody I know with a mortgage and kids, had to pay more money because we couldn't claim anything except at the state level. I don't like paying more, so I don't see how the Republicans saved me anything, but they sure did help the top 1% because the top 1% don't care about getting deductions for a few thousand dollars because they are billionaires. To me, it could be as much as 10% of my yearly income, but to them its an insignificant fraction of their income. As the guy who screwed people with kids, mortgages, work expenses, etc., SAD...

I appreciate the honest question. Here's why I'm voting for Trump:

In 2012 I liked Ron Paul. In 2016 I liked Bernie Sanders. In 2019 I liked Andrew Yang. In 2020, my vote is for Trump. There seems to be a concerted effort to push for Communism, whether it's Cancel Culture, violence from the Left, or support of China. If history has taught us anything, it's that Communism looks great on paper but is an epic failure every time, often killing tens of million of people. A vote for Trump is a vote against Communism.

I voted for Mickey Mouse in the Republican primaries, so it's Biden in this election. I feel Trump is not protecting our constitution and has his sights on a dictatorship. Along with Rosie O'Donnell, he attacks everyone else that remotely disagrees with him. Calls the press, including FOX, the enemy of the people. Grew up republican. Became a libertarian. I did not vote for either Hillary or Trump last election cycle. I am voting for Trump this election cycle for the following reasons off the top of my head in no particular order:
1) The left supports the BLM organization which at the core is corrupt. It is marxist, anti-family (which is close to the root of black crime, poverty, etc), hateful and hypocritical. Racism is hatred of another group. Racism being redefined to be hatred + power is dangerous and divisive.
2) The left supports antifa which is not just an idea. They have a long track record of intimidation and violence. This is not just to red hat wearing republicans, but to anyone who doesn't fall in line. It took more that 100 days for my leftist leadership in oregon to finally condemn the violence of the protests. Kate Brown is internet explorer.
3) What is the most innocent and precious life on this planet? A human baby. The left believes that ripping apart an innocent living (according to science) being is to be celebrated. This is horrific and at the level of Molech sacrifice that was practiced in the ancient middle east where families would place their babies on metal heated idols as a sacrifice. A person who advocates for the murder of the unborn has no right to be disgusted or look down on a mother who throws her newborn in the trash after birth. A death by the cold is to be preferred over being ripped to pieces (D&C which is the most common late term abortion method).
4) We have to push back against the suppression of science by the left. What is the most obvious fact in biology and nat...

What do you mean when you say some are “marxist, anti-family which is close to the root of black crime, poverty, etc“? What do you feel is the real root of black crime, poverty etc? I’ve always thought that some people and policies aren’t racist- rather they are focused on the condition of poverty. I can’t figure out a word (biased/ against/ anti) class.

According to Obama, “We all know the statistics. That children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of school and 20 times more likely to end up in prison.” If BLM and the left truly cared about this why are they silent now about this subject? What is more they are advocating the opposite of what they should be by opposing the nuclear family (which was on their website). Swing sets or falling tvs kill more people than white cops shooting unarmed black people (us 2019 stats). Young black men are shooting each other on crime infested streets and the left is blaming white racist cops. The blm leadership confessed that they are "trained marxists." If you were to measure the evil of an idea based on the body count of the innocent then communism would get the prize. They are advocating for an evil system! When you divide people into two groups and place all the blame on one side you will get division and conflict. It is also false. There are rich people who are generous. There are poor people who are lazy. Now neo-marxism is here dividing even more: white vs black, straight vs gay, male vs female. This is sickening and dangerous. If you want to live at peace with your neighbor we need to opppose this together.

Trump is honest, hard working and he does not change his mind about important issues. He’s a great family man with a beautiful and respectful family. He thinks religious freedoms are important and should be protected. He’s never been given a peaceful transition, which I believe he deserved. His presidency these last 4 years has opened my eyes to the corruption within our government entities, especially with our healthcare officials, our mainstream media, from the local news, national news and social media. There is no transparency when health officials who go against the mainstream narrative are silenced and removed from the media. I view this corruption as crimes against humanity. Governors are issuing states of emergencies for months, even after deaths plummeted and keep heavy restrictions in place. Forcing healthy people to wear masks, which pose serious health risks. They have health officials in place who use fear and their position to scare people into wearing masks. We have very corrupt people in government. I believe Trump is working at a his level to remove corruption but the states are in serious trouble.

The way I see it, Trump and Biden are both Christians when it benefits them to be so but don't follow their churches much of the time. Trump doesn't act kind as Christians should and Biden doesn't follow the churches' teaching on abortion. Defense and taxes. We are only number one in the world with every branch of our military. The projection arm of our military is our navy. All of the rest of the world combined would be the number two navy. Until they are the number 100 navy we are in danger.

Somewhere there is a guy with an AK who's mad at us for killing his family and friends, and raping his countries resources. We can't have any impediments to our military in getting to him. For every guy like this we need a carrier battle group, or we are not safe.

We also need our taxes reduced. So obviously we will pay for our military with printed money. That won't bite us in the ass, because you know, American Exceptionalism.

Trump’s record for the last 4 years speaks for itself. He has shown us just how useless the politicians are. He’s the only one getting anything accomplished despite constant attacks from the Left/Hollywood/Media/Communist complex. I mean, peace in the Middle East! Embassy in Israel. Pro 2nd Amendment, Greatest economy in 50 years benefitting all races. Lowest black unemployment in 50 years, Child tax credit, Pro Law & Order and funding for Police, School Choice-Magnet/Charter Schools, Opportunity Zones in Black communities, Revamped the VA system so Vets could use their own doctors & not wait for appts, 4000 people not performing in their jobs in the VA system let go, Highest Dow Jones in history benefitting anyone with a 401K for retirement, renegotiated NAFTA trade deal benefitting American workers, energy independence so we are not dependent on the Middle East for oil, he signed bill for Criminal Justice reform, he gave the most money to historically black colleges than any other President in history. Put Tariffs on China to balance the trade deficit. I have pages of his accomplishments but it would take me too long to fill in this box. Most people look at what he says, not what he does for the American people.

Probably, most would rather communicate on mediums where they will win. (Believe it or not, conservatives outnumber liberals online, but the major social media companies tweak the algorithms to make the numbers seem about equal, or Left-leaning, even.)

But keep inviting them! I really want Votezilla to be a place for all voices to be communicated, all ideas discussed, all people represented.

Joe Biden is more in touch with middle America and reality. He demonstrates compassion, patience, even tempered, believes in our country & the constitution. He has a plan & will bring back respect to America. He'll think of himself last. Trump is the opposite. He only & always thinks of himself.
